New Paid Benefit: Seasonal Creative Co-Working
Hello everyone!
I've got a longer newsletter essay in the works, but because my health has been truly terrible this week I haven't got that ready for you. I also started writing this essay about "House" by Charli XCX and John Cale, Gothic literature, and crumbling Empire, but I might actually pitch it to some magazines. If it's not accepted anywhere, you all will benefit and get to read it here. If it IS accepted, I'll be sure to link to it here.
But I did want to pop into your inbox to let you know that I'm starting a new benefit for paid members: Seasonal creative co-working!
I'm choosing a day once a season where I host a big, hours-long creative co-working session. I'll open the session with an oracle card reading, do a little bit of creative ritual and maybe Q&A, and then we'll do creative "sprints." If you don't know what that is, it is essentially when you set a goal for the creative session and then set a timer. So I'll decide I want to write a scene today, then I'll set a timer for 20 minutes and work on it during those 20 mins, like keeping a strong focus for 20 mins and then taking shorter breaks.
So if you want to get some creative work done and would like an accountability buddy, these sessions will be really good for you!
So if you would like to join us for the FIRST Creative Co-Working Session, mark your calendars!
Date: Sunday, November 30
Time: noon - 4pm CST
Format: Zoom live (you do not need to have your camera on)
Everyone who is a paid member of the Patreon or my Ghost newsletter will get the zoom link. So if this sounds like something up your alley and you're not a paid member yet, go ahead and upgrade your membership for the invite!
Depending on how these go, I might do it more often. I could see myself hosting it monthly or a shorter version weekly. We'll just have to see!
Anyway, stay tuned y'all, I've got some cool stuff brewing,
Siri
